30/11/03 National Preaching Meeting

The next National Preaching Meeting will be held at Govindadwipa immediately after the Action Day and will incorporate the midday arati and feast. The tentative agenda for the meeting is to deal with the next two items left un-discussed from the last meeting: 1) Dublin preaching and 2) Festivals across Ireland. "Please come with your ideas and help make ISKCON Ireland something we can proudly offer to Srila Prabhupada."

30/11/03 Govindadwipa Action Day

Sunday November 30th is Action Day at Govindadwipa. Together we can make the temple grounds spotless. Breakfast is at 8:30am and the action will kick off at 9:00am. Everyone is invited to: 1) Wear old clothes and bring shovels, spades or whatever you can and 2) Be there the night before to ensure you don't miss a very important part of the day - the beginning. The message is as follows: "By working together regularly, caring for each other and Krishna's temple, we can achieve a real community spirit, even though we may be spread out around Ireland."

16/11/03 Govindas Vegetarian Cookery Course

The secrets of Govindas vegetarian restaurant on Aungier Street, Dublin are revealed in this four-week course held every Sunday from 3 to 5 pm, starting on November 16th running through the 23rd & 30th and ending on December 7th. The class is taught by a highly-experienced mature Indian lady and the cost for the course is €60. The classes will also be repeated in January/February if you are unavailable over Christmas. Following the successful gathering held by devotees in the same location on Sunday October 19th, a follow-up festival will be held at the Silver Swan Hotel from 5pm to 8pm on November 16th. The hotel is opposite the W.B Yeats building on the top of Main street. All are welcome. The hotel has also been booked for December 21st at the same times.

The Celebration of the lifting of Govardhana Hill by Lord Krishna. Please contact individual temples for their schedules for the day. On Govindadwipa the second meeting will be held to discuss achieving the ideas that were suggested at the national preaching meeting. This will include a presentation by Vrajendra and Maharani Prabhus on the system of congregational caring in place in Bombay implemented by Radhanatha Maharaja and a video on this topic, followed by a discussion.
